The 'Hypebeasts' wear Asian street clothes and Flexfit snapback caps

What is a hypebeast?
A recent BBC News article stated that a hypebeast is someone who is passionate about streetwear and buys the latest clothes from streetwear designers. They like the comfortable feel and casual look of streetwear, which is inspired by hip-hop and surfing cultures.

Hypebeasts in particular love limited edition t-shirts, trainers and tracksuit pants. The market is dominated by US fashion labels, but a growing number of Asian fashion labels are creating streetwear. Hypebeasts aren't all millennia-old - a 40-year-old Singapore man admitted to BBC News that he spends £ 300 a month on Asian branded streetwear.

Yeti Out, a Hong Kong and Shanghai based label, has doubled sales of its streetwear in 12 months. The Indonesian label Paradise Youth Club has seen similar growth.

The popularity of streetwear is fueled by social media bloggers, who often focus on Asian labels. Jeremy Tan, director of the culture cartel, says:

"The world is looking east because an enormous number of young talents have appeared in recent years".

The Flexfit snapback
Hypebeasts may want the latest streetwear fad, but when it comes to hats, most stick with the traditional baseball cap. Flexfit is a brand that has its origins and headquarters in Asia, but the caps are sold worldwide. The Flexfit snapback cap is ideal for wearing with street clothes. Asian streetwear fans can wear Flexfit caps without losing their desire to buy only Asian brands.

In over 40 years, Flexfit has built a reputation for producing high quality and stylish headgear. The style and design of the snapback cap may not have changed over the years, but today snapbacks are bought with bespoke designs that streetwear fans love.

Streetwear is not just about the look and quality of clothing, but also about a certain mentality and attitude to life. Hypebeasts love adventure, be it skateboarding or lively conversations at 4:00 a.m. in bars in Bangkok. Designers are inspired by how groups of people interact and how they live their lives in the digital age. Asian streetwear fashion is unisex clothing, suitable for both men and women. The Flexfit Snapback fits this ethos as it can be worn by all genders.

At we believe that fashion knows no boundaries. That's why we embroider baseball-style caps that can be worn as street wear by seniors, millennials, their friends and parents.
